Argument for a Capitol Hill Historic District takeover?

It's alive ... the monster is alive!

It's alive ... the monster is alive!

I inspected pretty closely: This house on Independence Avenue SE has only one electric meter — I am 95 percent that this is s single-family home. Your average (pretty attractive, if you ask me) rowhouse has spawned an additional rowhouse to it’s east and a massive pop-up directly above.

You can thank Bay State homes for this joint. The Capitol Hill Historic District is considering expansions into both Hill East and Near Northeast, which presumably would halt construction like this. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad idea, I just know that would create one HUGE neighborhood.
