Twitter marketing, the old fashioned way

Had to stop and pause in Shadium-Armory Station the other day. There’s a lot of graffiti in D.C., but this seemed notable, not for its quality, more for its audacity. Deface public property…so someone will follow you on Twitter?

@PaidInFullBoy wants me to follow him. I would be happy to; unfortunately this Twitter handle doesn’t seem to exist. Still, this is a great example that online marketing can only go so far; sometimes you have to go old-fashioned before you can go viral.

And before anyone starts complaining about how dirty the Metro is these days (why don’t you pick up your Express newspaper first, then complain) this graffiti was scrubbed clean 24 hours later.
