Pro: Easy access to 24-hour 7/11 for eggs, milk, taquitos, jumbo spicy bites.

Con: Front lawn becomes receptacle for 7/11 customers.

Pro: 7/11 panhandlers will take any Bermuda quarters or Canadian nickels you need to get rid of.

Con: They are more interested in acquiring your American currency.

Pro: Tyrone the guitar-playing man and Street Sense vendors make 8th Street SE a vibrant, safe place.

Con: North Carolina Republican Senator Richard Burr will illegally park near your house.

Pro: Jumbo slice available from Pizza Boli’s until 3 a.m.

Pro: Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Con: Banana Cafe serves pan-fried garbage.

Pro: Great Metro access at Eastern Market Station.

Con: Out-of-state diners are not familiar with “rapid transit” and will complain to you about parking/hit your car and leave without saying anything.

Pro: Neighbors that say hello and watch out for each other.

Con: Pizza Boli’s drivers will play cricket in the street until the wee hours. Oh, and they won’t watch out for you.

Pro: Beautiful housing stock.

Con: Unpopularly priced rents.
