If you have a hot second and want to escape the ridiculousness of the D.C. primary election politics (stolen campaign signs and multiple Michael Browns), take a sec and check out the City Paper’s 2010 D.C. Election Poll.
The city is divided politically, racially, economically and by pro sports affiliation in the poll, and it’s pretty fun to sort through the data. Just remember that these polls paint the population in broad strokes. A white Fenty voter and a black Gray voter are probably not as far apart in values as a poll might make them seem.
