“Jamal! Jamal! HEY! Why are you ignoring me?”

Normally, you could count me among Maryland’s largest football and basketball supporters, in spirit of course, not monetarily. But after last season’s 2-10 ESPN360 televised fiasco, I didn’t believe it possible for me to be less excited about the 2010 Terps football squad.

Oh wait, Ralph Friedgen doesn’t know the name of his starting quarterback:

Ralph Friedgen urged his quarterback to organize the huddle but, as he often does, referred to him incorrectly as Jamal. … Jamarr Robinson turned toward his coach and said, matter-of-factly, “Jamarr.”

OK, NOW it’s not possible for me to be less excited about this season.
