Big Phat omission

Puff pieces are a necessary evil in journalism. They help writers gain access and trust from their sources. Writers often don’t even realize they are putting a positive spin on something until it is later pointed out by some cranky copy editor. A lot of the time, it is hard not be a booster for interesting subjects.

Even so, Chris Richards’ lode to B-More’s 92Q has a bad omission: The station can’t even sustain it’s morning show. The Big Phat Morning Show got iced two years ago. That is not a sign of a healthy hip-hop station if it has to bring super obnoxious Texas’ Ricky Smiley syndication to a large majority-black American city.

92Q does and has played some hot stuff, but they certainly have problems. My problem? This article lists zero of them.
